Zombie Shooting Targets

2009

The Undead Report is pleased to announce new zombie targets for your shooting, hunting, aiming, target practice and plinking pleasure.

Zombie Target

Targets are printed on sturdy 27# stock paper at 13″ by 19″. Targets will be sold in several to a pack, mailed in a sturdy shipping tube.

I’d like your ideas on the current design and what else you may like to see. The limitations of my printing setup are limited to 13″ wide paper, so I’m unable to print standard large targets. Rest assured, the head is life-sized and just asking to be filled with bullets, pellets, darts, paintballs, ninja swords axes, throwing knives, arrows, machetes, sharpened bricks, candy canes licked ’til they’re all pointy or flaming marshamallows.

This announcement is just a teaser, they’ll be ready soon. Post comments on how many you would like to get in a batch, what you’d be willing to pay, that sort of thing.

Update 02/27: Have a look at the new targets in development, coming soon!

At the store near my house they sell normal targets in packs of ten for $4.99. Seeing as how these ones are zombies, I would be willing to pay $6.00 to $7.00 for a pack of ten. Or $15.00 for a pack of 20. I really like your design. Maybe you could feature a couple of different varients. Perhaps a female? Or an elderly person? It looks good and I can’t wait to fire off a couple rounds at it’s head. Just wondering, what will the payment methods be? I might be able to do PayPal. Or if your in the area I might be able to pick them up and pay in cash. I am located in Spokane WA. Anyways, e-mail me back and let me know. Thanks. Paul G.

Fantastic Paul, thanks for the input. I’ll be working on more designs before I release them as a pack, and yes I’ll be using PayPal and perhaps eBay. I am based in Chicago.

i agree with paul on the prices, in my time of abstance i got the luck of scopeing out some gun stores, and i was able to get a price range on various targets, the size you posted above around my area run about $5 a pack of 10, smaller ones, (simulating range when space is scarce) range about 2-3 bucks for a stack of 5, ive also got some prices of amunition ranging from 9mm to 7.62 nato rounds, as listed below:

8mm ball point (K98 mouser) for a pack of 20 rounds- about 15 bucks per brick (prices went up due to some weapon restrictions)

9mm Full Metal Jacket- for a case of 20 rounds, 10 bucks a box 20 bucks for a brick of 5 boxes

5.56 nato Full Metal Jacket- 15 bucks for a box for 20 rounds

7.62 nato Full Metal Jacket- 16.50 for a box of 20 rounds, 30 bucks for a brick of 5 boxes

30-06 (major hunting round Full Metal Jacket)- 20 bucks for a box of 30 rounds

.22 cal Full Metal Jaclet & Hollow point- 5 bucks for a box of 30 rounds, 20 bucks for 100 rounds and 30 bucks for 200 rounds

these prices vary from location to location, i’d recomend scopeing out more gunstores,

    gun stores visited:
    Norton gun shop and bait
    black wing indoor shooting range

well, hope this helps a little more for some of those who dont have a luxury of being by a military outpost or a gunshop, and ill keep an eye open for more prices if there cheaper for ya sam, and keep an eye on some more prices of targets,

I think that the prices are good but you should make a big variety of targets like maybe dogs, animals, or just maybe a real life zombie dummy something that you could use for good practice. well i hope my comment helped oh yea and at big R they sell about 100 targets for 20 bucks there about 2′ by 2′. thanks.

I would be willing to pay for the targets. 5-15 dollars depending on the amount that is in the package.

Hey Sam. I saw the new targets. They look great. I’m really glad you added some variety. It’s like I always say, “the more the merrier.” In the case of zombies however this isn’t true. Unless you are referring to guns of course. But that’s beside the point. Anyways, I was wondering if you had any idea of when the release date will be. I know I keep saying it, but I’m really looking forward to purchasing some. Let me know when you get a chance. I prefer it if you can e-mail me. I don’t always remember to check this blog. Thanks again. Bye.

I’ve got a couple more designs lined up, and I’ll be presenting them this Saturday the 14th at Zombie Bowling here in Chicago!

Hey Sam, I was thinking of a few ideas for targets…and a totally killer one would be the whole “hostage” style, with an innocent person being attacked by a zombie. Only shot you have is a clean head shot over the shoulder of the “innocent” and into the gray matter of the zombie.

that is hardcore hey pfc you seem well informed on firearms i own a springfield xd 45.cal on these targets what do you think should be max range for headshots i use 185g +p hollow points

  • 12 logan Jul 5, 2009 at 2:03 pm

hello, i think zombie targets ar a great idea… put themn on a zigzag moving track, you could have fast zombie target practice… OBJECTIVE.. BLOW THE ZOMBS EFFING HEAD OFF BEFORE HE EATS YOURS. have oparts of the body labeled with points.. head, 20pts, crotch, 15 pts….. arms, 10 pts… body 5pts….

  • 13 logan Jul 5, 2009 at 2:06 pm

would it be possible to mix and match targets? 2 girl, two male, etc

  • 14 Sam Jul 6, 2009 at 12:06 am

Most definately… I’ll be making an official announcement and taking orders very soon.

  • 15 logan Jul 6, 2009 at 1:07 pm
