Zombie Short – What to do in a Zombie Attack

Don’t let its quasi government-propaganda features confuse you, this propaganda dates way back to 2006. It’s still an amusing, if slightly ill-conceived film. It does offer some good points and tips if you find yourself trapped in your home surrounded by the undead. I will have to argue with its first source of weaponry – ripping off an undead arm to beat a zombie with isn’t a good or practical idea.

As far as the nostalgic value goes, this movie is spot-on. I’ve seen many government/commercial propaganda films from the fifties and sixties, and the production value of this homage is perfect. Great acting, voiceover and direction. The narrator does go a little overbaord with the anti-communist overtones, but they are amusing.

Check it out after the jump.

I remember seeing this in primer school back in the day. Being Canadian, the communists weren’t seen as the bad guys the Americans tried to make them out to be, but that’s another story. Now that I’m a citizen I guess I have to hate them so now I get it.

Of all the secret communist projects, reanimation of the dead seems highly probable – they dabbled in some weird stuff.

With the dozens of forgotten bunkers and silos of the good ol’ CCCP, I’m sure one of them is just full of horible not dead things waiting to get out.

the cccp silos have been destroyed and there bunkers have lookouts in them as we speak. there is no reason to worry. and no they did not mess around in any re-animating of dead people. so no need to worry.

Z-day, 2012 eh? I’ve yet to read World War Z though.

Well, the Russian military is still notoriously lax in the security, money, and safety department. Destroyed? Lookouts? I sincerely doubt it. Russia still can’t get running water in half its country, so having a lookout at a destroyed bunker seems kind of superfluous.

mister stanford for a general you seem awfully interested in this webpage about reanimating of the dead and zombies can i ask why?

  • 7 Sonya Jan 14, 2008 at 5:34 am

To be honest I do think that the damn russians did in fact dabble in reaminating humans. However, it is not missing from my theory that someone or something has stopped them. Then again perphas they are still working on it if thats the case then I hope they get it before us. ALso, if i were to flee a place I would NOT go to russia.
